Easy Upgrades – Superfood Icing (Video)

In this episode you will learn from owners of the Light Cellar, Malcolm Saunders & Laura Milinusic, how to make some amazing superfood icing that you can add to any of your favorite desserts.  We recommend adding it to the top of your gluten-free chocolate quinoa cake -- recipe and video here.  Enjoy!

Easy Superfood Icing Recipe

  • 3 Tbsp organic butter (raw, grass-fed is best, if available) at room temperature.  If you would like to make this recipe vegan and plant-based you can use coconut oil instead of butter.
  • 3 Tbsp raw honey.  Mix honey together with butter.
  • Add a pinch of vanilla - extract, powder, or seeds.
  • 2 Tbsp raw organic cacao butter, melted.
  • Add a tiny pinch of salt.  Keep mixing all ingredients together!
  • Finally, add 2 Tbsp of raw organic grass-fed Whey powder or Colostrum.  If desiring to keep it vegan and plant-based, you can use Lucuma powder instead.
