“Be Alert . .. Britain needs lerts!” I was reminded of this the other day whilst seeking the advice of my local computer shop: faced with a new PC I was re-installing all my favourite programs and, in downloading the Firefox browser had inadvertently also downloaded some ad-ware: persistent pop-up ads.

When life throws all sorts of traumas and challenges at you (which it seems to have been doing a lot over the last few years), do you often think, as I do, that “I know nothing” . . . or struggle to make sense of, well, anything and everything?

In our 24-7-365 world it can be hard not to want everything now . . . or sooner. Everybody seem to be rushed off their feet . . . except those who find that times drags terribly! How can time be so changeable? Maybe it is not time, but us: maybe the time has come to reflect on the nature of time and to rethink our relationship with it.

Summer is the perfect time in Arizona to fast. As the temperature climbs above the 100s, food sounds less and less appealing. Fasting on juice is awesome for 3 reasons: 1. You can have all the juice you want without feeling heavy or tired. 2. You stay cool as your body does not heat up from the energy required for digestion. 3. The most important for me: A sense of peace, freedom and Pure Joy! Today is day 3 of juices.
