Join Malcolm Saunders in this Autumn edition of Easy Upgrades, enjoying the fruit of the season: pumpkins! Learn how to make protein-rich "paleo" pancakes. These are grain-free and gluten-free, and can be included into a gut-healing diet depending on your stage in your health journey.

Watch the video to learn how you can vary the recipe to suit your needs and customize the flavour depending on tastes and season.

Recipe in this video:  Paleo Pumpkin Pancakes

  • 1 1/2 cups cooked Pumpkin puree (1 can)
  • 2 cups raw Cashews, soaked
  • 4 - 5 eggs
  • 2 Tbsp Pumpkin pie spice
  • 2 Tbsp Mesquite
  • 2 Tbsp Whey powder
  • 1 Tbsp Pine Pollen

Blend all together and cook as you do pancakes. This recipe does come out a little more moist so give them an extra minute cooking on the pan.

Easy Upgrades is a series where you will pick up “easy to implement” recipes and ideas you can add-in to your everyday cuisine to upgrade your health.
